LEADS
(Grades 5-9)
Just as a student might take piano lessons or attend a soccer clinic, LEADS approaches leadership as a skill set that is organically developed with intention and ultimately, goals that align with individual interests.
HighHER TogetHER’s flagship program is a multi-year, cohort-based leadership experience where girls learn how to (1) communicate toward a positive outcome, (2) manage conflict while maintaining team integrity, (3) recognize team strengths and motivate accordingly, (4) navigate ambiguity, (5) understand the value of setbacks and ultimately, (6) build and lead strong teams to impactful results. Here’s how it works:

Participants meet for a weekend session monthly Sept - June as a group segmented by grades

Programming is developmentally structured so that students engage with the same leadership concepts at age-appropriate levels, ensuring depth without pressure.

Sessions are held in community settings where participants practice leadership through peer discussion and activities, role-play, projects, and lots of real-world exposure.
Leadership Concentrations (Grades 9-12)
Leadership Concentrations offer high school students the opportunity to deepen their leadership skills and simultaneously create something worthy of a resume', job or college application. Students will select from pathways centered in:
• Entrepreneurship
• Creativity
• STEM
Each concentration blends leadership development with a 10-month, hands-on project, where students collaborate to create meaningful deliverables aligned with their interests.Throughout the experience, students build skills in accountability, collaboration, navigating ambiguity, and developing their leadership identity.

Leadership Labs are immersive experiences that introduce or reinforce HighHER TogetHER’s LEAD's approach in a dynamic, hands-on format, perfect for summer fun!

Leadership Labs combine leadership skill-building, collaboration, creativity, and real-world problem solving.

Labs may include special programming for students preparing to step into a higher-level LEADS cohort or for girls seeking a stronger foundation before applying to the flagship program.

Leadership Labs are intentionally designed to be a week of engaging, social, and impactful fun—without homework or academic pressure.
